THE EXPATRIATE CENTER (TEC)

The Expatriate Center (TEC) is the key project of Shanghai Family Life Services Center which was started in 2014. In October 2018, TEC was officially inaugurated in Gubei Civic Center. TEC is a non-profit organization legally registered and supported by the Shanghai municipal government, also introduced as the first talent service platform in collaboration between the government and social organizations in Shanghai. Here we aim to help expatriates Build A Home Away From Home. TEC is a one-stop service platform that offers a direct window, both offline and online, to address the actual needs of the foreign community in the areas of Living, Working and Family Life in Shanghai. It also serves as a channel to provide feedback to the Shanghai government on policies and programs important to the international community.
